MIAP Partner Units Meeting October 2018

MIAP will have the next MIAP partner units meeting on: Friday, October 26th 2018, 12:00 -15:00.

This time we would like to combine the MIAP partner units meeting with a technical talk from the field of microscopy / imaging. Alexia Ferrand and Kai Schleicher from the Imaging Core Facility, Biozentrum, University of Basel will talk about their SNR project “Signal-to-Noise ratio made easy: A tool to assess your confocal performance” https://doi.org/10.1101/291500

For the MIAP partner units meeting we would like to discuss the current situation of MIAP and the partner units, summarize the events since the last meeting and talk about upcoming workshops, demonstrations and future plans.
We would also like to talk about potential future grant applications, projects and investment plans in the facilities and their hosting institutions.

Like the previous meeting, it will be a very open and interactive discussion (no monologue / upfront presentation) focusing on hot topics in the facilities and the participant’s interests.

Important:
If you can’t make it to the meeting for whatever reason, you are invited to send a representative / staff member of your facility to join the meeting. Just let us know and we will invite and add them to the mailing list. For those of you who already declined the meeting or did not receive the doodle link but want to join anyway, please let us know asap so we can plan accordingly.
